The Missouri Lottery is looking for its newest millionaire in a familiar place. Thirteen years after selling a Powerball ticket worth $130.6 million, Hermann Fuel Mart, located at 115 B Highway 19 in Hermann, has sold a Missouri Lotto jackpot ticket. The $3.5 million ticket was purchased for Saturday’s Lotto drawing with the winning number combination of 10, 17, 26, 28, 36 and 43.
“This win marks the 239th time a Lotto jackpot has been won, and it’s also the 460th player to become a Missouri Lottery-made millionaire,” said May Scheve Reardon, executive director of the Missouri Lottery. “This winner will join a list of winners that includes Bill and Claudia Walkenbach of Hermann, who purchased the $130.6 million Powerball ticket in July 2003 at the very same location.
“If you’re holding the winning ticket from Saturday night, please sign the back of it immediately,” she added. “And be sure you keep it in a safe place until you’re ready to claim your prize at one of our Lottery offices.”
Draw Game winners, including those who play Lotto, have exactly 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winner has until May 11, 2017. Prizes can be claimed at any of the Lottery’s four offices, which are located in St. Louis, Jefferson City, Springfield and Kansas City.
This Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot resets to $1 million.
