The Lotto jackpot has been growing since March 25 and with last night's drawing, someone is the Missouri Lottery’s newest millionaire. The $2.9 million winning ticket was sold at Bi-State Southern Convenience Store, 920 N. Kingshighway St., in Cape Girardeau. The ticket matched all five numbers drawn: 4-5-6-8-27-43. The winner can elect to receive the full amount in 25 payments throughout 24 years (minus taxes) or choose the cash option value of $1,450,000 if they want to receive payment in one lump sum (minus taxes).
The Lotto winner is our 243rd Lotto jackpot winner and the 468th Missouri Lottery-made millionaire.
We would like to remind all players to sign their tickets immediately and keep them secure. You can review how to claim your prize at MOLottery.com.
The Powerball jackpot is still on the up and up, rolling to an est. $337 million for this Saturday night's drawing. But there were still two big wins for last night's drawing. Two tickets matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball number to win $50,000. Those tickets were sold at:
- Casey's, 2764 W. 32nd St., Joplin
- QuikTrip, 2525 Burlington St., North Kansas City
We are now at an even 100 players who have won Powerball prizes of $50,000 since the matrix changed in October 2015, chaning the 4 + 1 prize from $10,000 to $50,000.
