The Powerball jackpot rolled last night. It now stands at $700 million, the largest North American Lottery jackpot ever, and it could grow larger. Four players in Missouri won prizes of $50,000 for matching four white-ball numbers and the Powerball. Winning tickets were sold in the following locations:
- QuikTrip, 290 E. 4th Street, in Eureka
- Love’s Travel Stop in Boonville
- Huck’s Food Store, 3500 Patterson, in Florissant
- North Side Convenience in Marshall
The winning Powerball numbers for Jan. 6 were: 2, 11, 47, 62, 63 and the Powerball number was 17.
It’s fun to dream of what you could do with $700 million, but remember, it only takes one ticket to win. Please play responsibly.
There was another big winner last night. One lucky player matched all five winning Show Me Cash numbers to win the $439,000 jackpot. The winning ticket was sold at Fuzzy’s Bar & Grill in Eldon. Tonight’s Show Me Cash jackpot resets to $50,000.
Powerball is in the headlines, but Mega Millions is big, too. Friday’s Mega Millions jackpot is $165 million. You could win $1,000 a day for life playing Lucky for Life tonight. Good luck!
