Gadget Giveaway

The first drawing in the "Gadget Giveaway" promotion is complete.  The unofficial winners list has been posted here.  If you were one of the 200 winners to receive $100 cash, simply present your Bonus Raffle ticket at a retail location to collect your prize.  Grand, first- and second-prize winners must present their Bonus Raffle ticket to the Lottery for validation. 

Bonus Raffle tickets for the second drawing are already being issued this week.  Just buy a $1 or greater Pick 3 or Pick 4 ticket for the current drawing to gain entry into the promotion.  Congratulations, and good luck!

Maybe you've never played Pick 3 or Pick 4 before.  Maybe $600 or $6,000 doesn't sound like much money.  But those prizes are available in drawings twice a day for simply picking 3 or 4 numbers between 0 and 9.  It could be your street address, your IQ,  your wedding date or even random numbers. 

During March, we're sweetening the deal for you to play Pick 3 and Pick 4.  For every $1 or greater Pick 3 or Pick 4 single-ticket purchase for the current drawing between March 1 and March 28, you will receive a Bonus Raffle ticket for the Gadget Giveaway.  In each of four drawings, we'll award cash and prizes to winners selected from the Bonus Raffle numbers issued that week.

Drawing #2 of the "Wheel of Fortune®" second-chance promotion is complete.  The unofficial winners list is posted here. 

There were more than 52,000 entries for this drawing, of which about 85 percent were entered online.  The third and final drawing takes place on April 8, with the final entry deadline of 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30.  Keep playing those 'Wheel of Fortune®" Scratchers tickets and be sure to enter the non-winning tickets into the promotion. Several top prizes remain in the game.

Deadline looms

The second entry deadline in the "Wheel of Fortune®" second-chance promotion is 5 p.m. on Feb. 16.  You must have your entries registered online or delivered to the Lottery by that time to be eligible for the second drawing.  One player will win a trip to Hollywood for a chance to audition for the TV game show, and three other players will win cash prizes.  For more information, check the promotion page. 

Plotting the winners

Just to show what random distribution looks like, I plotted the winners from draw #3 of the "Holiday Magic" second-chance promotion.  Keep in mind that this is only one of the three drawings, and cities that don't have any winners might have been represented in the first two drawings.  These exercises remain consistent - the winners are spread around the state with slightly higher concentrations in our major population centers. 

We had more than 480,000 entries during the course of this promotion.

Wheel of Fortune

The first drawing in the "Wheel of Fortune®" second-chance promotion is complete.  The unofficial winners list is posted here.  In each drawing, one player will be selected to win a trip to Hollywood for a chance to audition for the TV game show, while three other players will receive cash prizes. 

In this first drawing, we had more than 60,000 entries, of which, nearly 90 percent were entered online.  The second entry deadline is 5 p.m. on Feb. 16. 

Holiday Magic complete

The third and final drawing in the "Holiday Magic" second-chance promotion is complete.  The unofficial winners list has been posted here. 

We received more than 213,000 entries for this drawing and more than 481,000 throughout the entire promotion.  In this final drawing, about 73 percent were entered online.
