The jackpots keep growing, but there were lots of winners last weekend. You might say Lottery players were playing small ball on opening weekend. We had multiple Club Keno winners, plus, other daily games players had big wins in Pick 3 and Pick 4.
The big jackpots rolled. Tuesday’s Mega Millions jackpot is $57 million, and the Powerball jackpot is up to $148 million! Even Lotto boasts a $2.1 million jackpot for Wednesday. The annuity for a $2.1 million jackpot would pay about $84,000 a year for 25 years. Sounds pretty good, right?
Club Keno players ruled the weekend. There were three big winners Friday, and another on Sunday. All were 7-spot tickets, but one lucky player on Friday used Bulls-Eye to win a little more, and another ticket had multiple shares, meaning more than $1 played per game. Here are the details:
- $6,724 - BJ’s Kwik Shop on Highway 25 in Dexter
- $20,111 - QuikTrip, 8815 Page Ave., in St. Louis
- $12,611 - JJ Twig’s Pizza and BBQ in Lake Ozark
- $5,791 - Elks Lodge in Florissant
Pick 3 players had a good April Fools’ Day. They jumped on 6-3-9 at midday, winning more than $79,000 in prizes. The big payout was that night on 1-8-7. Players won more than $256,000 in prizes across all play types. Pick 4 players got a share of the fun on Sunday afternoon. The winning Pick 4 midday combination was 5-9-5-9. Many of you had that straight, and the Lottery paid more than $132,000 in prizes. Salute!
