The big jackpots got even bigger, but we did have a couple of $10,000 winners yesterday. The Powerball jackpot grew to $133 million for Saturday. One player matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball last night to win $10,000. The winning ticket was sold at Main Discount Smoke & Liquor in Grandview.
There was a $10,000 last night in $250K Triple Play. The winning ticket was sold at Vienna Quik Spot in Vienna. You can win up to $250,000 in every $250K Triple Play drawing. To celebrate, we’ll give away a T-shirt to the first five commenters with a My Lottery account. Tell us what you would do with $250,000. Go!
It’s a Lucky for Life draw night, and the Show Me Cash jackpot is $111,000. Got your ticket?
It’s called a groundscore - when you spot something of value on the ground, discarded or lost by someone else, and you pick it up. Of course, if you know who lost it, you should try and return it. But that’s not always possible, and one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. This California man found a $20 bill, bought a lottery ticket and won $1 million. A score, indeed.
The moral of this story is sign your tickets. A Lottery ticket is a bearer’s instrument. Sign the back of your winning tickets to avoid losing it to someone else.
