Roots 'N Blues 'N BBQ

The Missouri Lottery is teaming up with Break Time convenience stores to offer patrons a chance to win a weekend package for the upcoming Roots 'N Blues Festival in Columbia.  The popular annual event takes place Sept. 25-26.  Attendees of the festival will enjoy live music and the best barbecue mid-Missouri has to offer.  Visit your local Break Time to purchase tickets for the event, or buy $2 worth of Lotto tickets to get entered into the contest.  The prize includes hotel accommodations and access to all of the shows, plus VIP treatment and even some Scratchers tickets, valued at more than $600.

From lawn to VIP

We're sponsoring concerts with Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in St. Louis again this year.  Here's a great comment from one of the winners of our promotion "Lawn to VIP." 
To say we had an outstanding time is an understatement and the entire evening made for an experience we won't soon forget. 
That's Brian Finch, one of the lucky players who was selected to play for a chance to swap his lawn seats for a spot in front of the stage.  He and his friends were there to see Aerosmith, and because storms rolled through the area that night, it made the promotion even better.  Listen to Brian tell the story below.

Summerfest

The Missouri Lottery is sponsoring Summerfest in Columbia.  The second show is tonight and features Ben Folds.  If you attend tonight's show, check out the best seats in the house - the four large recliners by the stage, which happen to the only seats in the house.  You could be in those seats for any of the next four Summerfest shows, courtesy of the Missouri Lottery.  Visit the Web pages of BXR and KRCG, or connectmidmissouri.com, to register to win.  If you don't have access to the Internet, you can also register in person at Slumberland Furniture in Columbia.  Of course, don't sign up unless yo plan on going.
