New Scratchers

Pick 3 and Pick 4 players are still on a winning streak. Players of both games cashed in at midday when combinations of ones came raining down. Pick 4 players scooped up more than $67,000 in prizes when 1-3-1-2 dropped, and Pick 3 players broke the bank on 1-1-4. The payout for that winning combination was $168,000! The majority were box plays (expecting 4-1-1, I expect), although about half also hit it straight. Oddly, if you were playing dates, 1-3-1-2 might have been better on Friday.

Growing jackpots

All of the jackpots rolled last night. One player in Indiana won $1 million by matching five white-ball numbers in Powerball. There were 26 players who won $250 playing Show Me Cash, and another 21 who won $486 playing Lotto.

The Show Me Cash jackpot grew to $181,000 for tonight, and the Lotto jackpot grew to $2.5 million for Saturday. Friday's Mega Millions jackpot is $66 million, and the Powerball jackpot is $70 million. Play It Forward.

Oh, thank heaven!

Show Me Cash rolled last night, but Pick 3 players picked up the slack. One of those popular combinations dropped last in 7-1-1. More than a thousand players cashed in more than $279,000 in prizes.

UPDATE: Changed it up a little at midday, but Pick 3 players still won more than $54,000 on 6-1-6.

Pick 4

I suppose we shouldn't chide Pick 4 players about a near miss. I mentioned this morning that it looks like they missed one last Saturday. They did NOT miss today's winning midday Pick 4 combination. The Lottery paid more than $193,000 in prizes on 4-1-4-1.

These were mostly box plays, so apparently many of you were playing 1-1-4-4 or some other variation. Still, more than 100 players picked up $500 on the combo. What are you playing tonight?

Oh yeah - Pick 3 players got some, too. The Lottery paid more than $53,000 in prizes on 7-8-5.

Lucky doubles?

We had lucky sevens last week. What seems to be happening now in Pick 3 is lucky doubles, although sevens played a prominent role again today at midday. When triple sevens came up last Friday, the payout was more than 400 percent of sales. Players hoping to cash in on triples again won big with a near miss last night on 1-3-3. The payout was more than $87,000.

A similar combination popped today at midday - 2-7-7. Players won more than $55,000 today, after collecting just more than $41,000 on 5-7-7 yesterday at midday. See a pattern?

Well, it doesn't hold long. Pick 4 players are also winning big, but not the same way. They scooped up $49,000 in prizes today at midday on 1-2-0-9. The other recent large strike was 0-3-1-2 Saturday evening. Players won more than $129,000 on that winning combination, which were mostly box plays. Maybe you were playing 0-1-2-3?

Whether you're playing up or down the last combo drawn, these wins suggest it's time to pick three or four numbers and get in on the action.

Lucky 7s!

A total of $419,580 was paid out to Pick 3 players today at midday! The triple combination of 7-7-7 was drawn, and the Lottery paid out more than 447 percent in prizes on 1,440 winning plays.  Congratulations to all the winners!  What triple combination will come up next?

Even more to play for tonight

Once again, Show Me Cash rolled last night and is even higher - $288,000! The Mega Millions jackpot for tonight is also up to $34 million with a cash value of $25.1 million.  Got your tickets?

The jackpots keep climbing!

No one won the Show Me Cash jackpot last night, so it now rises to $255,000 for tonight. Powerball and Lotto also rolled and sit at $50 million and $2.1 million, respectively, for Saturday night’s drawing.  There was a big winner in Club Keno last night; a player at Scooters Express in Forsyth won $7,742 on a 6-spot ticket. Congrats!
