The Missouri Lottery is sponsoring three different events in St. Louis this weekend. We're proud to sponsor the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series in St. Louis, Oct. 19-21. Look for the Lottery booth at the Heath and Fitness Expo in the American Center Friday and Saturday and spin the wheel for a chance to win Scratchers. Join the Missouri Lottery in Columbia this weekend for the Roots 'n Blues 'n BBQ festival. It begins tonight at 5:30 with music on the MO Lottery stage in Peace Park. You can enjoy music from bands like Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, the Del McCoury Band and the Believers. Saturday's lineup includes Same Bush, John Mayall, Columbia native Deke Dickerson and the Ecco-fonics, the Mojo Roots, Music Maker Blues Revue, and the MO Lottery King of the Roots winner.
In addition to tons of live music, there's also lots of delicious BBQ. The Missouri Lottery will have our selling trailer on the festival gounds. The Lottery is participating in the Great Forest Park
Balloon Race this weekend in St. Louis. As the name indicates, activities will
be held at Forest Park on Sept. 7 and 8. Friday night is the awe-inspiring “Balloon
Glow.” Tethered balloons will fire their burners after dark illuminating the
park grounds with balloon glow. On Saturday, there is a festival during the day
with the balloon race beginning around 4:30 p.m.

A lot is happening in Kansas City this weekend, including the opening game of a new Kansas City Chiefs football season. The Chiefs take on Atlanta this Sunday at noon and the Missouri Lottery will be a part of the festivities. Look for the Lottery selling trailer outside the stadium prior to the game. Folks on the west side of the state have a chance for some family fun this Labor Day weekend. The Santa-Cali-Gon Days Festival runs Aug. 31 - Sept. 3 in historic downtown Independence. The festival harkens back to frontier days, but history isn't the only draw. Crowds in attendance can enjoy live music, vendors and a carnival. The Missouri Lottery is sponsoring a different kind of event this year. It's the 93.7 Bull Float Trip, held this weekend on the Meramec River. Organized by the St. Louis radio station, 93.7 The Bull, it's a three-day festival, complete with concerts of some big country stars like Montgomery Gentry.
