The jackpots rolled again last weekend, but players did win big with Powerball. Five players matched all five white-ball numbers to win $1 million, including one in Missouri. Another player in Washington added Power Play to win $2 million. The other winning tickets were sold in Florida, Michigan, New York and Pennsylvania.
The $1 million winning ticket sold in Missouri was purchased at Village Cafe, 800 Market St., in St. Louis. This is the seventh $1 million winning Powerball ticket sold in Missouri since the game changed in January.
Don't forget, if you buy a $5 Mega Millions ticket on Tuesday or Friday in July, you'll get a free Powerball ticket. You could be the next $1 million winner.
Other games provided excitement this weekend. A winning Club Keno ticket was sold at Pony Express Post 359 in St. Joseph. One lucky player will collect $5,000 for matching nine out of 10 Spots.
And how about Show Me Cash? The jackpot is approaching record levels and lots of people are playing the game. There were 170 Missourians who won $250 prizes between Friday and Sunday, and tonight's jackpot is up to $602,000! Got your ticket?
