The Powerball jackpot rolled last night, but one lucky Missourian matched all five winning numbers in Show Me Cash. One winning ticket was sold at QuikTrip, 8583 St. Charles Rock Road, in St. Louis. If you shop there, check your tickets - you could be the 208th Show Me Cash jackpot winner of $463,000! Several jackpot winning tickets have been sold at QuikTrip locations around St. Louis, including a recent Lotto winner at a QuikTrip on Gravois.
That's not the only place people are winning. The Powerball jackpot rolled, but players in Illinois, Louisiana and two in Florida won $1 million by matching five white-ball numbers. In Missouri, one player matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000. That winning ticket was sold at Pump'n Pete's in Rich Hill.
The Powerball jackpot has grown to $139 million for Saturday.

I have noticed a lot of winners come from the St Louis area. What's up with that?

St. Louis is the largest population center in the state. There's more people buying more tickets, thus, there are more winners from that region.
But winning happens everywhere tickets are sold.
