Have a birthday coming up? What better way to celebrate getting wiser than spending a long weekend in Las Vegas. That's what Jean Glidewell of Kansas City did. Jean won an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas on the Missouri Lottery "Caesars" Scratchers ticket. She took her daughter with her on the trip to celebrate their birthdays, which are two days apart.
According to Jean, she took her daughter to Las Vegas for her 21st birthday, and now again 19 years later, thanks to the Missouri Lottery. They got to enjoy four days and three nights at Caesars Palace with $1,000 in spending cash.
Jean said the people were friendly, and the hotel and arrangements were "well taken care of and easy."
"Vegas is great," she said. "Lots of things to do."
They enjoyed two shows, and the highlight was the Elvis Cirque du Soleil show.
"I grew up during the Elvis era, and my daughter likes his music, too!" she said. "Thanks for the trip and the memories!"
