Silver Anniversary

Drawing #11 in the "Silver Anniversary" second-chance promotion took place today. Winners have been posted here. Congratulations to the 25 lucky winners who won $1,000 and advance to the grand-prize drawing for $1 million.

There were more than 29,000 entries in this drawing, a slight increase from last month. Only one drawing remains.

There are still top prizes of $250,000 available in the "Silver Anniversary" game, and you have one last chance to win in the second-chance promotion. A grand-prize drawing will take place on Jan. 20, 2012, for $1 million!

Promotion winners!

There are several big promotions running right now. Winners in the final drawing for the "Chiefs Game Plan" and the "Gridiron Gold" promotions have been announced. Chiefs winners are posted here, and Rams winners are posted here. 

There were more than 10,000 entries in this final drawing for the Rams promotion and more than 12,000 entries in the Chiefs promotion. About 84 percent of the entries were made online. Check the list to see if you'll be enjoying some football in person next season.

Another drawing takes place today. Winners in drawing #11 of the "Silver Anniversary" promotion will be announced this afternoon. Congratulations to the winners, and good luck.

More Missouri Millionaires

All of the jackpots rolled last night, but a player in Missouri used Power Play to win $1 million! We've been talking about how upcoming changes to Powerball would create more Missouri millionaires. This is how. After Jan. 15, all players who match five white-ball numbers will win $1 million. Players who add Power Play, like the player did last night, will win $2 million!

Last night's winning ticket was sold at Irondale Food Mart in Irondale. The player who holds the winning ticket will get the $1 million prize in a lump sum, so 2011 is looking like a pretty good year.

They weren't the only big winner. One player matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000. That winning ticket was sold at Mobil Mart, 5480 S. Lindbergh, in St. Louis.

Consider adding Power Play or Megaplier to your tickets. You have a great chance, just in time for Christmas. Tonight's Show Me Cash jackpot is $287,000. Friday's Mega Millions jackpot is $173 million, and the Powerball jackpot on Christmas Eve is $125 million! Put a winning ticket on your Christmas list.

 

Club Keno!

No one won the Mega Millions jackpot, although a player in another state did win $1 million by adding the Megaplier. Friday's jackpot grows to $173 million!

Club Keno provided all the excitement last night. Two players won big. A winning 6-Spot ticket with Bulls-Eye was sold at Marinades Steakhouse and Lounge in Springfield. The lucky player will collect a $7,086 prize. Another player in St. Louis won $11,613 on a 7-Spot ticket. They were playing at Krueger's Bar on Forsyth Blvd.

The "12 Days of Keno" promotion wraps up this weekend. Add Double Bulls-Eye to your Keno play on Thursday, Friday or Saturday this week and you'll get a free 4-Spot ticket. Add some cheer to your holiday!

Anniversary Cruise

Remember those awesome cruise packages that are available on the "Missouri Lottery's 25th Anniversary Cruise" Scratchers tickets? Some of those prize winners have taken their vacation and shared the photos they took on their trip. Here are some pictures that Deborah Paff took while enjoying her 25th anniversary with her husband, Steven. We met the Paffs last March after they won.

The Paffs went to Labadee, Falmouth and Nassau in October. Deborah commented that she loved the food, seeing new places and learning about the people who live there. They enjoyed dining on the "Allure of the Seas," saying that "it was all too good to pick the best."

Deborah said the highlight of the cruise was watching a live performance onboard called, "The Blue Planet." The ballet on ropes was "the best ever," according to her.

If you see any "Anniversary Cruise" tickets at retail, you may want to buy them. The game is closed to distribution, but several cruise packages have yet to be claimed. This could be you...

Changes to Powerball

By now, you've probably heard that changes are coming to Powerball on Jan. 15. At that time, the price will move to $2, and the prize structure will change.

In advance of the coming changes, we've been executing a "stepdown" for purchasing advance plays for Powerball. You can only buy tickets for five drawings currently, and that number will decrease by one with each drawing after Dec. 31.

One of the benefits of the change will be more Missouri millionaires. We average about 24 match-five winners each year. After Jan. 15, the prize for matching five white-ball numbers will become $1 million. To celebrate that fact, we're conducting a special promotion up until the game changes. Each week between now and then, we'll select 24 winners of $100 each. Check your Powerball tickets for information about how to enter.

Where it's at

All of the jackpots rolled last weekend. One player in Indiana did win $1 million with Power Play. In Missouri, one player matched all five white-ball numbers to win $200,000. The winning ticket was sold at QuikTrip, 1251 N.W. Barry Road, in Kansas City.

A Club Keno player hit nine out of 10 spots to win $10,000. It happened on a Keno To Go ticket sold at B & B Kwik Stop in Sullivan. During the "12 Days of Keno," if you add Double Bulls-Eye to your ticket on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you'll get a free 4-Spot ticket.

What a great week to have big jackpots! Tonight's Show Me Cash jackpot is $199,000, Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot is $152 million, and the Powerball jackpot for Wednesday is $104 million! Got your ticket?

Deadlines loom

Two promotions have entry deadlines on Tuesday, Dec. 20. You must have your eligible non-winning tickets entered online through your My Lottery account, or delivered to the Lottery by 5 p.m. to be in either drawing.

Enter for a chance to win Blues tickets and prizes in the "You Scratch, You Score!" second-chance promotion. Only "St. Louis Blues" Scratchers tickets are eligible for entry.

Big weekend ahead

It's the last full weekend before Christmas. It's time to get that shopping done. The malls will be jammed packed, so maybe it's time to consider alternatives.
