Wacky numbers
Pick 3 players have been killing it this week. The last three midday winning combinations were: 3-1-1, 3-1-3 and 5-1-1. The payout each day was in excess of sales.
The year end features some interesting dates that might inspire players. If these midday numbers are any indication, it could be a wild weekend ahead. What numbers are you feeling?

The second drawing in the "You Scratch, You Score!" promotion is complete. The winners list is posted here.
There were more than 30,000 entries for this drawing, with more than 90 percent being entered online through My Lottery accounts. Lots of happy Blues fans are getting awesome prize packages, including a road trip with the team, a penthouse suite for 12 during a regular-season game, an autographed jersey and more. In this most recent drawing, 100 players were awarded a merchandise prize package.
There's still time to get in on the action. You can win up to $20,000 instantly on the "St. Louis Blues" ticket. Enter non-winning tickets into the "You Scratch, You Score!" second-chance promotion for the chance to win again. The final entry deadline if Jan. 17. Let's go Blues!
Where it's at
With all the jackpots being recently hit, some players may have taken the night off. Last night's winners are a testament to staying in the game. Show Me Cash was hit for the second night in a row. A player in Florissant became the 174th jackpot winner in the game, bringing home the $50,000 prize. A ticket matching all five winning numbers last night was sold at ZX on Dunn Road in Florissant.
The Powerball jackpot rolled, although a player in New York did win $1 million with Power Play. In Missouri, one player matched all five white-ball numbers to win $200,000. The winning ticket was sold at Shop 'n Save, 196 Mayfair Plaza, in Florissant.
You might be seeing a "Florissant" theme here, but there were also two big Club Keno winners yesterday, the largest was in Kansas City.

Players liked the Pick 3 numbers at midday. The Missouri Lottery paid out more than $110,000 in prizes, which was about 157 percent of sales. Sales have been steady, but Draw Games Product Manager Scott White anticipates that sales of combos will increase toward the end of the week.
"Triples (1-1-1, 2-2-2) are always a popular wager for Pick 3 players, but 1-8-7 has been showing up as another frequently played Pick 3 number. The odds of any combination coming out are the same, but don't tell that to the daily numbers players," he said. "Sometimes they just feel it."
Will 1-1-1 sell out this weekend? Will 2-0-1-2 hit on New Year's Eve? Anyone want to party like it's 1999?
Show Me Cash!
The $206 million Mega Millions jackpot was won in New York last night. Three players in other states won $1 million by adding Megaplier to their tickets.
Show Me Cash provided the big winner in Missouri. One player matched all five winning numbers to win the $112,000 jackpot. The winning ticket was sold at Casey's General Store in Drexel.
That means all of the jackpots have reset - except Lotto. Tonight's Lotto jackpot is $1.8 million - still two plays for $1.

What a fantastic holiday weekend. Some of the big jackpots were hit, but there are plenty of reasons to stay in the game this week. Show Me Cash got it all going last Thursday. A ticket sold in Kimberling City matched all five winning Show Me Cash numbers. A player who shops at Harter House holds claim to the $287,000 jackpot. The jackpot quickly rebounded.
The $128 million Powerball jackpot was hit in Maryland, and players in Pennsylvania and Tennessee won $1 million with Power Play.
Mega Millions keeps rolling right along, although two players in other states won $1 million with the Megaplier. In Missouri, one players matched four white-ball numbers and the Megaball to win $10,000. The winning ticket was sold at White Oak Station on Green Mountain Drive in Branson.
