Players liked the Pick 3 numbers at midday. The Missouri Lottery paid out more than $110,000 in prizes, which was about 157 percent of sales. Sales have been steady, but Draw Games Product Manager Scott White anticipates that sales of combos will increase toward the end of the week.
"Triples (1-1-1, 2-2-2) are always a popular wager for Pick 3 players, but 1-8-7 has been showing up as another frequently played Pick 3 number. The odds of any combination coming out are the same, but don't tell that to the daily numbers players," he said. "Sometimes they just feel it."
Will 1-1-1 sell out this weekend? Will 2-0-1-2 hit on New Year's Eve? Anyone want to party like it's 1999?
