Where it's at

There were several big winners last Friday and Saturday night, albeit none of our favorite sports teams (unless you count Mizzou moving to the SEC as a win). Missouri Lottery players soaked up the good luck. One player matched all five Show Me Cash winning numbers Friday night. The winning ticket worth $64,000 was sold at Convenient Food Mart, 3714 W. Truman Blvd., in Jefferson City.

No one hit the Mega Millions jackpot, but a player in Missouri did match four white-ball numbers and the Megaball to win $10,000. The winning ticket was sold at The Stand, 801 Chestnut St., in St. Louis.

A winning Club Keno ticket was sold at Leprechaun's Gold Lounge, 705 Chambers Road, in St. Louis. The player matched seven out of eight spots with Double Bulls-Eye to win $13,500.

Similar story on Saturday; no one hit the Powerball jackpot, but two players in Missouri matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000. Winning tickets were sold in the following locations:

• 7-Eleven, 7901 W. Mexico Road, in St. Peters
• Tesson Ferry Mobil, 13500 Tesson Ferry Road, in St. Louis

Another winning Club Keno ticket was sold Saturday. A winning 7-Spot ticket was sold at the Elks Lodge in Desloge. That player will collect a $6,513 prize.

The jackpots are growing again. Tonight's Show Me Cash jackpot is $60,000. Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot is $15 million, and Wednesday's Powerball jackpot is $25 million.

Deadline looms

Have you tried your luck on the "St. Louis Blues" Scratchers ticket? If not, you may want to. Enter non-winning "St. Louis Blues" Scratchers tickets into the "You Scratch, You Score!" second-chance promotion. You could win prizes like a trip on the team plane, an invitation to a private practice, a penthouse suite for a game, an autographed jersey and more.

Pick up a "St. Louis Blues" Scratchers ticket today, and don't forget to enter non-winning tickets into the "You Scratch, You Score!" promotion. The first entry deadline is Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 5 p.m.

Where it's at

The Powerball jackpot run has come to an end. A winning ticket for last night's $245 million jackpot was sold in Connecticut. A player in Arkansas won $1 million with Power Play.

In Missouri, one player matched five white-ball numbers to win $200,000. The winning ticket was sold at Mobil on the Run, 1111 Main St., in Imperial.

Two players matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000. The winning tickets were purchased at the following locations:

• Hy-Vee, 3100 W. Broadway, in Columbia
• Energy Express, 1409 Chambers, in St. Louis

The Show Me Cash jackpot was also hit last night. One ticket matched all five winning numbers for the $225,000 jackpot. The lucky player holding that ticket fuels up at U-Gas, 7005 Highway NN, in Cedar Hill.

All of the jackpots have reset, except Lotto. You still get two plays for $1 with Lotto, and Saturday's jackpot now stands at $1.8 million. Would that be enough to tide you over until the next big jackpot?

It's holiday season!

Can you believe the holidays are here again? We rolled out our holiday-themed Scratchers tickets recently, and I'll introduce each game here in the near future. Team of the Month

A group of Kansas City metro area co-workers have been named the Missouri Lottery Team of the Month for November. The group of ophthalmology professionals call themselves the "Eye'm a Winner" team.

"I keep our group playing week after week, and we have never missed a drawing," said team captain Jodie Jackson. "I'm a very positive person, and I believe that can be contagious."

They look like a bunch of fun, and that's what Lottery teams are all about. Fun, and playing for the big dream.

Another group of co-workers recently claimed a $200,000 Powerball prize. The group of 32 from the St. Joseph area matched all five white-ball numbers in the Oct. 15 drawing to win $200,000. Each team member got $6,250.

Do you play with a group? Now is the time. Tonight's Powerball jackpot is $245 million!

Ones are hot!

Pick 3 and Pick 4 players are already showing enthusiasm about combinations of 1. Today is 11-1-11, and next Friday is 11-11-11. In the past few years, lots of people have tried to gain advantage with combinations of lucky dates. This may be the hottest date yet.

Combinations of 1 are already selling out. The combination of 1-1-1-1 is already sold out for the Midday drawing, and Pick 4 is selling quickly. If you want to buy for this evening's drawing, you might want to do that now.

We cap sales of certain combinations to prevent a catastrophic payout should the number come in. Once players have purchased enough plays to equal a $2 million payout for any combination in Pick 3 and Pick 4, we end sales for that combination.

So if you're thinking 1s will be lucky today, or next Friday, buy early. Good luck!
