Silver Anniversary

The eighth drawing in the "Silver Anniversary" second-chance promotion is complete. There were more than 27,000 entries in this drawing. We selected another 25 winners this month, each of whom will receive $1,000 and advance to the grand-prize drawing for $1 million. The winners list has been posted here.

Only four monthly drawings remain, yet big prizes are still available in the "Missouri Lottery's Silver Anniversary" Scratchers game. Enter non-winning tickets for a chance to win again. Only the monthly winners will get a shot at $1 million at the end of our anniversary year.The next entry deadline is Oct. 18.

I've added the latest round to the map. It's starting to get a little crowded, but as you can see, the winners are showing up all over the state. We even had four out-of-state winners this month. Which one of you will earn a dot on the map?

Where it's at

The Powerball jackpot was hit in Georgia. In Missouri, one player matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000. That winning ticket was sold at Shop-N-Hop 5, 623 N. Main St., in Maryville.

Saturday's Powerball jackpot resets to $20 million.

There was also a big Club Keno winner this week. A 6-Spot ticket with Double Bulls-Eye was sold at the American Legion in Blue Springs. The lucky winner will collect a $8,993 prize. By adding Double Bulls-Eye, the player also earned a Bonus Raffle ticket for the "Fabulous Las Vegas Giveaway" promotion. Ask for a Club Keno ticket with Double Bulls-Eye at any Missouri Lottery retail location and you will also get a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas.

The other jackpots continue to grow. Friday's Mega Millions jackpot is $65 million, Saturday's Lotto jackpot is $2.3 million, and tonight's Show Me Cash jackpot is $179,000.

State Fair winner

The Missouri Lottery is proud to support the Missouri State Fair, and we've been a part of it for most of our 25 years. The Lottery was in a new location this year, but we provided more entertainment than ever before. We conducted daily second-chance drawings during the course of the fair with winners advancing to a grand-prize drawing for two Jet Skis. Ed and Alice Kline of Festus were the lucky winners.

 

Roots n Blues n BBQ winner!

The Missouri Lottery was a sponsor of this year's Roots n Blues n BBQ festival in Columbia. Half of the acts played on the Missouri Lottery stage, and one lucky player ended up with a "Whole Hog" pass for the event. Carl Turner of Columbia details his prize at one of the state's most soulful music festivals.

 

Deadline looms

The next entry deadline in the "Silver Anniversary" second-chance promotion is Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 5 p.m. You must have your non-winning "Missouri Lottery's Silver Anniversary" tickets entered online by that time to be eligible for this drawing.

We'll draw 25 winners of $1,000, and each of them will advance to the grand-prize drawing for $1 million. Entries have been dropping for the last few drawings, which means your odds of being selected are improving. Get in the game today.

Where it's at

There were no jackpot winners in any game last weekend, although a couple of players in other states won $1 million with the Megaplier. We did have some big winners in Missouri. One player matched four white-ball numbers and the Megaball Friday night to win $10,000. The winning ticket was sold at 7-Eleven on Shackleford in Florissant.

Two other players matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball Saturday night to win $10,000. Winning tickets were sold at the following locations:

• Break Time on Highway 72 East in Rolla
• Phillips 66, 2110 Chouteau Ave., in St. Louis

A couple of players also won big playing Club Keno. A winning 7-Spot ticket was sold at The Junction in Perry. The winner will collect a $7,467 prize. Another player hit nine out of 10 spots with Bulls-Eye. That ticket, sold at Bistro Market in Springfield, was a Keno To Go ticket. The lucky shopper will collect $25,000.

Neither player added Double Bulls-Eye, which will earn you a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas. Just ask your favorite Lottery retailer for a ticket with Double Bulls-Eye and you'll receive a Bonus Raffle ticket until Sept. 26.

The jackpots are still growing. Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing is $54 million. Wednesday's Lotto drawing is $2.2 million, and the Powerball jackpot is $25 million. You could play Show Me Cash tonight for the $116,000 jackpot. And you can always win big with Club Keno. Got your ticket?

Roots n Blues n BBQ

The Roots n Blues n BBQ festival kicks off tonight in Columbia. Click here to check out the musical lineup for the next two days. Some impressive acts will take the stage, including the Missouri Lottery King of the Roots winner, Jason Vivone and the Billy Bats.

The Missouri Lottery will have our trailer in the middle of the ticketed area. Stop by and play some Scratchers, get a Powerball or Lotto ticket, or even stick around and play Club Keno. We'll also be taking pictures that you can download for free following the event, or even on your smart phone for a quick post to Facebook. Let your friends know you're in the middle of the party.

Trips!

Pick 3 players cashed in big on Thursday. Triples resurfaced in the Midday Pick 3 drawing. This was the third appearance of triple zeros this year. Players holding more than 800 winning tickets packed in more than $255,000 in prizes. That payout was about 324 percent of sales.

What will be the next hot combination? Don't look now, but Saturday's date is 9 - 10 - 11. And the next day...

Club Keno!

People are winning big playing Club Keno. Surprisingly, neither of last night's winners selected Double Bulls-Eye. Not only can you win bigger prizes with Double Bulls-Eye, you'll also get a Bonus Raffle ticket for the "Fabulous Las Vegas Giveaway" promotion. You could win an expenses-paid trip to Las Vegas!

Two winning tickets were sold last night. A ticket matching seven out of eight spots with Bulls-Eye was sold at Eric's Rockin' C Bar & Grill in Garden City. The lucky player is rockin' out with a $5,400 prize. A winning 6-Spot with Bulls-Eye was sold at Steve's Place in Waynesville. That player will collect a $7,172 prize.

You can get a Keno To Go ticket anywhere Lottery tickets are sold. Add Double Bulls-Eye, and you'll get a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas.

Where it's at

The Powerball jackpot run has come to an end. A winning ticket for the $108 million jackpot was sold in Maryland. Five players in other states matched five white-ball numbers to win $200,000, and three of those winners added Power Play for an extra $1 to bump the prize to $1 million. The million dollar tickets were sold in Georgia, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

There were some big winners in Missouri. A ticket sold in St. Joseph matched all five winning Show Me Cash numbers last night. A player who shops at Gas Mart USA, 4101 N. Belt Highway in St. Joseph, will collect the $136,000 prize.

The night before, a Keno player at Johnnie's Bar in St. James matched nine out of 10 spots to win $5,000.

Those games are hot, but don't overlook Lotto. The jackpot has grown to $2.1 million, and you still get two plays for $1.
