Second Shot!
Pick 3 and Pick 4 players should be looking forward to October. We're holding a special promotion for those of you who enjoy the daily games. Between Oct. 2 and 29, the Missouri Lottery is conducting a new orange ball promotion. This time, we'll start with five white balls and two orange balls. Before the Midday drawing, we'll draw one of the balls. If it's a white ball, it will come out of the drawing for the next day. If it's one of the orange balls, Pick 3 or Pick 4 players will get a second shot to match the winning combination because we'll draw a second set of winning numbers. The orange balls are marked for either Pick 3 or Pick 4 and once one is selected, the process starts over.
So during the promotion, we expect Pick 3 or Pick 4 players to get at least four extra chances to win money. If not, we'll keep going until you do. The orange ball is only applicable to the Midday drawing.
To sweeten the pot, we're also adding a chance to win for the Evening drawings. We'll award bonus prizes of $50 to randomly selected purchases between the Midday and Evening drawings. More chances to win playing Pick 3 and Pick 4 with the "Second Shot" promotion.
Club Keno!
Mention Club Keno and, bam! There's a winner. One player got lucky last night on a 7-Spot ticket sold at Double Oh Grill in Reeds Spring. It was an old-fashioned regular ticket, but it brought the winner a $7,461 prize.

Only the Cardinals hit the jackpot last night. I'm a little surprised we didn't see a Club Keno winner. That means all of the jackpots continue to grow.
We did have one player who matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000. That winning ticket was sold at Snappy Stop, 1620 W. 14th St., in Kansas City.
So what's next? Tonight's Show Me Cash jackpot is $66,000. Friday's Mega Millions jackpot is $113 million! And just in time for the playoffs, Saturday's Lotto jackpot is $2.7 million, while the Powerball jackpot is $47 million. Stay loose, have fun and play to win!
Three way!
Players loved last night's Show Me Cash winning combination. The winning numbers were: 2, 5, 7, 9 and 11. Three players matched all five winning numbers, the first ever three-way split in the history of the game. Each will get an equal portion of the $130,000 jackpot, or $43,333. Winning tickets were sold in the following locations:
- Casey's General Store in Tarkio
- H & D Market, 4200 Jennings Station Road, in St. Louis
- Hitt Mini Mart in Columbia
Lots of other players were playing something similar. There were 60 players who won $250 and more than 1,300 players pocketed $10.

The answer may be Pick 3. The winning combination of 1-0-0 was drawn twice last weekend.
All of the big jackpots rolled, although a player in Rhode Island did win $1 million with Power Play. In Missouri, one player matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000. That winning ticket was sold at Abel's Quik Shop in Wright City.
That means jackpots are the theme of the week. Tonight's Show Me Cash jackpot is $112,000. Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot is $96 million! Wednesday's Lotto jackpot is $2.6 million, and the next Powerball jackpot is $37 million. Got your ticket?
The jackpot rolls...
No one hit the jackpot last night. Powerball rolled to $30 million, but two players in Florida and Kentucky did win $1 million with Power Play.
That means all of the jackpots continue to climb. Mega Millions is $86 million Friday night. Show Me Cash is up to a $65,000 jackpot for tonight. The game to watch may be Lotto. Saturday's Lotto jackpot is $2.5 million, and you still get two plays for $1. That annuity would work out to about $100,00 a year for 25 years. Interested?
Double Bulls-Eye and Vegas!
The latest round of winners in the "Fabulous Las Vegas Giveaway" promotion have been announced. The winners list is posted here. In three drawings so far, we've awarded 15 trips to Las Vegas and 75 prizes of $500, just for trying Double Bulls-Eye. Players have won from places like Archie's Lounge in Springfield, the Elks in Florissant and Amvets in Park Hills. I can see a new "Hangover" script waiting.
Only one drawing remains. You can earn a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas by adding Double Bulls-Eye to your Club Keno ticket. (I might add that several players have won bigger prizes by doing that.) But do it fast. Last plane for Vegas leaves at 2 a.m. on Sept. 26.
Weekend of winners
There were quite a few winners this weekend, unfortunately not the Chiefs. All of the luck on the west side of the state apparently went to Lottery players. Two players matched four white-ball numbers and the Megaball to win $10,000. Both of those winning tickets were sold in Kansas City:
- QuikTrip, 4510 N.W. Gateway Drive, in Kansas City
- Pour Boys, 10500 N.E. Cookingham, in Kansas City
The Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots rolled, but a player in Florida did win $1 million with Power Play. That sets up a $75 million Mega Millions jackpot Tuesday night, and a $25 million Powerball jackpot for Wednesday.
Other players won big on Club Keno. Late last week, a winning 7-Spot ticket was sold at Stables Grill in Kearney. One lucky player collected a $6,230 prize. Another Club Keno player in St. Joseph won $5,700 on a 7-Spot ticket. That winning ticket was sold at Olympia Lanes in St. Joseph. Don't forget, until Sept. 26th, you'll earn a Bonus Raffle ticket for the "Fabulous Las Vegas Giveaway" when you add Double Bulls-Eye to your Club Keno ticket.
Show Me Cash produced the biggest winner of the weekend. One ticket sold for Sunday's Show Me Cash drawing matched all five winning numbers. Someone who shops at Harter House on Republic Road in Springfield holds claim to the $261,000 jackpot. Never hurts to play on Sunday.
Or Monday. The Rams play the Giants tonight on Monday Night Football. Try your luck on Club Keno during the game, or pick up a Missouri Lottery "St. Louis Rams" Scratchers ticket.
