Where it's at

The Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots both rolled last weekend, but players in other states did win $1 million with Power Play and the Megaplier. In Missouri, two players matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000. The winning tickets were sold in the following locations:

• Bob Land's in Alexandria
• Quick Stop in Moscow Mills

Show Me Cash produced a couple of winners Saturday. Two tickets matched all five winning numbers and the winners will each take half of the advertised jackpot. A prize of $106,500 will go to players who bought their tickets in the following locations:

• Midway Liquor & Gas in New Bloomfield
• Stan Moffit's Last Chance in Campbell

Club Keno also produced a few big winners last weekend. A winning 8-Spot ticket was sold in Florissant, and a winning 7-Spot ticket with Bulls-Eye was sold in West Alton. That location, Rivers Edge, has produced a number of big winners.

• $11,638 - Mattingly's Inn in Florissant
• $14,372 - River's Edge in West Alton

Lawson Show Choir

Missouri Lottery employees in Jefferson City got a special treat when a performing group from Lawson Elementary School stopped by for a visit on May 25. They performed a '50s-themed routine they had been working on all year. Director Melody Starnes explained that it was a good opportunity for the kids to perform, and a good fit, since the Lottery generates money for public education. The following video documents the performance.

Best Seats in the House

The Missouri Lottery is sponsoring live shows in downtown Columbia this summer. The next 9th Street Summerfest concert is Big Smith on July 21. Admission is free, but if you want to rise above the crowd, the Missouri Lottery has the best seats in the house. If you plan on going, get registered to win a seat in one of these comfy lounge chairs.

Pictured are winners from the June 24 concert featuring Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. The winners were Cindy Lane of Bucklin and Terence Acree of Mexico. Along with their guests, they got into position long before the crowd filled the street.

Anniversary Cruise

If you weren't aware, the Missouri Lottery is giving away cruise packages on the "Missouri Lottery's 25th Anniversary Cruise" Scratchers ticket. It's a fantastic vacation, including a seven-day cruise on Royal Caribbean, first-class airfare and spending cash. Several cruise packages have been awarded, but many still remain.

The Forakers of Canalou were one of the early winners of this prize, and have already taken the trip. We caught up with them shortly after they returned. In the following video, they talk about the cruise and how much fun they had.

The jackpots all rolled last night, but a player in Ohio did win $1 million with Power Play. In Missouri, one player matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000. That winning ticket was sold at 7-Eleven, 260 Hoffmeister Ave., in Lemay.

Saturday's Powerball jackpot jumps to $61 million. Tonight's Show Me Cash jackpot is $162,000.

I've got game!

A new feature was just added to the Missouri Lottery mobile apps. You can now play "Captain Lotto Crunch" on the Missouri Lottery mobile apps for iPhone and Android. This retro-style game features yours truly. Just search for "Missouri Lottery" on the Android Market or Apple's App Store. In addition to this fun game, you'll be able to check winning numbers or search for retailers through our mobile apps. If you're a smart phone user, here's an easy way to stay on top of the latest Lottery numbers.

TIP:  The game control arrows may be difficult to see at the bottom of the screen for Android users. Up, down and side to side arrows are slightly embossed in the play area.

There's always plenty to do in the summer. Maybe lake or river weekends are keeping you occupied, and you just aren't thinking about a cruise right now. Club Keno created a big wiinner in Missouri. A 7-Spot ticket sold at the Blarney Stone in St. Louis will pay some lucky player $5,698. Play Club Keno at your favorite night spot, or pick up a Keno To Go ticket at any Missouri Lottery retail location.

Show Me Cash is the hot game today. Matching temps across the state, tonight's jackpot is $99,000!

Show Me Cash!

There were two winning tickets sold for last night's Show Me Cash drawing. Was it something about these numbers? The winning numbers were: 2, 10, 21, 23 and 24. The two players will split the $179,000 jackpot, each taking home $89,500. The winning tickets were sold at the following locations:

• Dierbergs Brentwood Point, 8450 Eager Road, in St. Louis
• Fast Lane Paris Road in Columbia

There was also a big Club Keno winner yesterday. A winning 8-Spot ticket was sold at My Place Lounge in Springfield. The lucky player with the winning ticket is entitled to a $15,449 prize.

Tonight's Show Me Cash jackpot resets to $50,000, and the Mega Millions jackpot is $16 million. If you're heading out, don't forget to try Club Keno. Or you can pick up a Keno To Go ticket while stopping for "supplies" on the way home.
