Big Bucks!

We followed a couple of hunters to deer camp this year.   The following video documents a technique that they are using to land some trophy bucks!

Get your tickets early

Don’t be left out in the cold.  If you’re worried about being snowed in, you can always buy tickets in advance.  Tickets are on sale already for Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing, and Wednesday’s Powerball and Lotto drawings.  You can buy tickets for the next drawing immediately following the last. 

You can also do advance purchases for up to 15 drawings for any of our games.  Just ask the clerk about a multi-draw ticket or for an advanced play on an upcoming drawing.  That way, no matter what Mother Nature throws at us, you won’t miss a drawing. 

Where it's at

There was a little something for everyone this weekend.  The Mega Millions jackpot rolled, but two players in other states did win $1 million with the Megaplier®.  In Missouri, one ticket matched four white-ball numbers and the Megaball® to win $10,000.  The winning ticket was sold at Casey's General Store in Willard. 

The Powerball jackpot also rolled.  Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot is $91 million, and the Powerball jackpot is $35 million for Wednesday's drawing. 

We sold at couple of big winners Saturday night.  A winning 9-spot Keno To Go ticket was sold at Bullseye on Highway J in Ozark.  The winner will collect $25,000!  Not sure if that player was watching the big game Saturday night, but it goes to show that you can also win at home with Keno To Go. 

There was a winning Show Me Cash jackpot ticket sold in Washington.  A ticket purchased at Phillips MPC on Fifth Street matched all five winning numbers Saturday night to win the $142,000 jackpot! 

Where will all the big winners be this week? 

It's on!

Mizzou plays Texas Saturday in a big prime-time basketball match-up.  Since it's a road game, it's a perfect opportunity to visit your favorite watering hole for some sports on TV.  If you plan on going out, pick a place that offers Club Keno.  Then, during breaks in the action, you can try your hand at Club Keno and increase your chances of bringing home a winner. 

(Don't forget the other Numbers Games - you can buy tickets for the current drawing until 8:59 p.m.)

Mall tour!

Look for the Missouri Lottery this Saturday at Independence Center Mall.  We'll be selling tickets and conducting a second-chance promotion between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.  Tickets purchased on-site can be entered for a chance to win a cruise identical to the cruise packages offered on the "Missouri Lottery's 25th Anniversary Cruise" Scratchers ticket.  Click here for more details.

What follows 1-2-3?

The obvious answer is 4-5-6.  That was the winning combination in today's Midday Pick 3 drawing.  Players liked the combination.  533 winners collected more than $86,000 in prizes, which was a payout of about 118 percent of sales. 

What will be the next combination to drop?  It looks like players are favoring triples for tonight's draw. 

One million dollars!

Do you add the Megaplier® option to your Mega Millions ticket?  No one hit the Mega Millions jackpot last night, but a player in another state did win $1 million with the Megaplier®. 

Of course, there are other ways to win $1 million playing the Missouri Lottery.  You can add Power Play to your Powerball ticket, play Lotto for $1 million tonight, or pick up one of our Mega Scratchers games.

Missouri Lottery's Silver Anniversary

There is another new game for Missouri Lottery players that offers incredible prizes and a year-long second-chance promotion to celebrate our 25^th anniversary.  The new $10 game, “Missouri Lottery’s Silver Anniversary,” offers players the chance to win up to 20 times on a single ticket.   You could win one of six top prizes of $250,000 instantly. 

Beyond that, non-winning “Missouri Lottery’s Silver Anniversary” tickets are eligible into a second-chance promotion with drawings every month.  In each drawing, we’ll select 25 winners from that month’s entries to win $1,000.  Each of those winners (a total of 300) will be eligible for the grand-prize drawing for $1 million to be drawn on Jan. 20, 2012. 

To enter this promotion, you’ll need a My Lottery account.  If you don’t have a computer at home, you can enter your tickets on a computer located at any of the Lottery’s regional offices:  St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield and Jefferson City.   The good news about using online entry is that winners will be instantly validated – you won’t have to submit your tickets again if you are selected as a winner. 

Remember, there is a drawing every month, so you’ll want to keep up with your tickets.  The first entry deadline is Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 5 p.m.

Ones finally dropped

I would have titled this post zero-double one, but the James Bond theme doesn't quite work.  Ones certainly do for Pick 3 players.  The winning combination in last night's Pick 3 drawing was 0-1-1.  Were those the ones we were waiting for?  Or are more on the way? 

At any rate, it was a good night for Pick 3 players.  There were 681 players who won prizes totaling nearly $99,000!
