Mega Millions!

There was no jackpot winner last night, but a player in another state did win $1 million using the Megaplier®.  A recent change to Mega Millions made the match five prize with Megaplier® an automatic $1 million, similar to Power Play.  That change will take effect in Missouri in mid-November.

One Missouri player did match four white-ball numbers and the Megaball® last night to win $10,000.  The winning ticket was sold at QuikTrip, 16100 Manchester, in Ellisville. 

The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday is now a whopping $101 million! 

State Fair winner

Remember those hot days at the State Fair?  We held a second-chance promotion for people who attended the Fair and awarded a grand prize of two ATVs.  We assigned producer Frank Finley to the prize patrol and he filed this report after delivering the prize to the lucky winner.   

Cruise Control

A new promotion began this week.  Every time you buy a $1 or greater Pick 3 or Pick 4 ticket for the current draw, you'll be issued a Raffle Ticket good for two drawings.  Each week during the promotion, we'll draw 20 winners from the Raffle Tickets generated that week.  Those 20 weekly winners will win $500, which can be redeemed at your favorite retail location.  Hold on to those tickets, because at the end of the promotion, we'll conduct a grand-prize drawing for a 2010 Cadillac Escalade. 

That's it.  It's that simple.  Just play Pick 3 and Pick 4 and earn an extra chance to win - with the "Cruise Control" promotion from the Missouri Lottery.

Back to Vegas!

The "Back to Vegas" Show Me Cash promotion is now over, but because it's fun, I plotted the 20 stores that sold winning tickets for the Bonus Raffle.  People who bought tickets at the following locations won trips to Las Vegas.  As you can see, winners come from all over the state, but it looks like a lot of people in Kansas City were playing Show Me Cash.  Click here for the winners list.

Where it's at

There were some big winners over the weekend.  We sold the 115th Show Me Cash winning jackpot ticket.  A ticket matching all five Show Me Cash numbers Saturday night was sold at Schnucks Market on Vogel Road in Arnold.  If you shop there, check your tickets closely.  The winner will collect the $204,260 prize. 

Powerball made a couple of people really happy.  A ticket sold in Michigan won $1 million with Power Play.  In Missouri, one player matched all five white-ball numbers to win $200,000.  The winning ticket was sold at Mobil Mart, 11109 Olvie Blvd., in Creve Coeur. 

Another ticket matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000.  That winning ticket was sold at 7-Eleven, 8250 Watson Road, in St. Louis.

Club Keno continues to make winners.  A 7-spot ticket sold at Hammerstone's in St. Louis won more than $6,000.  And a 7-spot Keno To Go ticket sold at Parker BP, 12095 Benham Road in St. Louis, won more than $5,000. 

Keep an eye on Mega Millions this week.  The jackpot for Tuesday's drawing has grown to $86 million. 

Club Keno!

There was one big winner last night, and it came on Club Keno.  One ticket sold at the VFW in Harrsionville won $80,000 on a 9-spot ticket.  Club Keno is available at thousands of establishments across the state, and is now available any time at all Missouri Lottery retail locations as Keno To Go. 

Linn State Dedicates New Building

To see Lottery proceeds at work, look no further than the new Vehicle and Power Center at Linn State Technical College.  Built with proceeds from the Missouri Lottery, the new building was dedicated on Sept. 17 and is already training a generation of heavy vehicle mechanics, many of which will be certified to work on Caterpillar equipment upon graduation.  The Missouri Lottery was on hand at the grand opening and producer Frank Finley filed this report.

The hot game over the weekend was Club Keno.  Three different players took home huge prizes for just playing the game at their favorite hangout.  The following winners came on Friday, Saturday and Monday. 

• $16,254 - Uncle Ernie's in Bourbon
• $6,779 - Side Pockets in Lee's Summit
• $25,000 - Pour Boys 2 in Kansas City

There was also a big winner from Powerball.  A ticket matching four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000 was sold at Murphy USA in Camdenton.

And the winners are...

The winners from the first round of drawings in the St. Louis Rams "Gridiron Gold" and the Chiefs "Game Plan" second-chance promotions have been announced.  You'll find the unofficial winners list for the Chiefs here and the Rams here. 

There were more than 38,000 entries in the "Game Plan" promotion, and more than 26,000 entries in the "Gridiron Gold" promotion.  About 86 percent of the entries were entered online through My Lottery. 

The second-round of the promotions is now underway.  The next entry deadline for both is Tuesday, Nov. 2, at 5 p.m.

Where it's at

Last night's Lotto numbers are making someone rather happy today.  A ticket sold at Ozark Oil in Newburg matched all six winning Lotto numbers to win the $4.9 million jackpot.  This is the 198th winning Lotto jackpot ticket sold in the history of the game. 

There was also one player who matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball last night to win $10,000.  That winning ticket as sold at Petro Mart, 14898 Clayton Rd., in Chesterfield.
