Boo!

It may be getting hard to find our Halloween-themed Scratchers ticket, "Jack-O-Lantern Jackpot," at retail locations.  The game is nearly sold out, although there are still some big prizes out there.  But that doesn't mean Halloween is over.  Quite the contrary; we've got a promotion to reward Lottery players who might be dressing up this year.  Submit a photo of  your costume to Captain Lotto for a chance to win a spooktacular prize package in the Molotteryblog.com Halloween Costume Contest.  Click here for details.

Is it too early to start talking about the holidays?  We don't think so.  Five new holiday-themed Scratchers games are on the street, waiting for you to play and win.

Club Keno

People continue to win big prizes playing Club Keno.  Someone who buys tickets at Fire Station Bar & Grill in Camdenton won more than $10,000 on an 8-spot ticket last night. 

Club Keno is now available at any Missouri Lottery retail location.  Even if your favorite retailer doesn't have seating or a game monitor, you can pick up a Keno To Go ticket and watch the drawing on your computer.  With drawings every four minutes, anytime is a good time to play Keno.

The next entry deadline in the Chiefs Game Plan and the St. Louis Rams Gridiron Gold second-chance promotions is Tuesday, Nov. 2.  You must have your non-winning tickets submitted online or delivered to the Lottery by 5 p.m. on that day in order to be eligible to win.  We've got another round of NFL merchandise, season tickets and mouth-watering grand prizes to give away.  Remember, you could win a trip to a St. Louis Rams road game with travel on the team plane, or tickets for two to a Kansas City Chiefs game in the Founder's Suite. 

Sweet second-chance prizes aside, you could also win $70,000 instantly in both of our NFL-themed games - the St. Louis Rams® and the Kansas City Chiefs® Scratchers tickets.  We have yet to see anyone claim the top prize in either game.  So pick up a ticket featuring your favorite team - and get ready to win! 

Plethora of Promotions

There are no shortages of promotions going on right now.  The Missouri Lottery is offering players lots of different ways to win - from the Bonus Raffle we're giving Pick 3 and Pick 4 players, to the Chiefs and Rams second-chance promotions, and the Molotteryblog.com Halloween Costume Contest. 

Here's the latest and the one that will run the longest - "Hi-Tech Holidays."  The holiday second-chance promotion began last weekend and the holiday-themed games associated with the promotion officially went on sale last week.  Enter $10 worth of eligible non-winning tickets and you could win $300 worth of Missouri Lottery Scratchers tickets, $1,000 cash or the grand prize of $15,000 to use for the hi-tech electronics on your shopping list.  We'll award three grand prizes in each of the three drawings during the promotion period.

Where it's at

The jackpots all rolled this weekend, although one player in Florida did win $1 million with Power Play and two players in other states won $1 million with the Megaplier®.  In Missouri, it was Club Keno providing all the excitement - other than football, of course.  Two players won big money playing Keno this weekend.  A 6-spot ticket sold Saturday at C Dubs Pub & Grub in Jefferson City won $5,000.  And an 8-spot ticket sold Sunday at the American Legion in Kansas City won $13,150. No word on whether the players were watching the Tigers and Chiefs big wins.

The jackpots are on the climb.  Mega Millions is $118 million for Tuesday, Powerball is $72 million for Wednesday, and you can play Show Me Cash for a $65,000 jackpot tonight. 

Halloween Costume Contest

It's back by popular demand - The Molotteryblog.com Halloween Costume Contest.  Halloween is just over one week away, and since it takes place on a weekend, there are bound to be plenty of opportunities for you to don a costume.  Why not send a pic to Captain Lotto for a chance to win a fantastic prize package?  The bar was raised by excellent submissions last year, and I imagine the competition will be fierce.  Lottery employees will determine the top 20 finalists, and players will vote on their favorite.  The top five will win a prize package consisting of a backpack stuffed with goodies, including $50 worth of Missouri Lottery Scratchers tickets.

Show Me Cash

Someone took my advice yesterday and played Show Me Cash.  We had one ticket match all five winning Show Me Cash numbers last night to win more than $71,000.  The winning ticket was sold at Lakers Eagle Stop in Camdenton.  This is the 116th jackpot awarded in Show Me Cash since it began in Sept. 2008. 

Tonight's jackpot resets to $50,000. 

Where it's at

What an interesting evening of drawings on Wednesday.  No one hit the Powerball jackpot, but a player from New York won $1 million with Power Play.  In Missouri, two people matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000.  The winning tickets were sold at the following locations: 

• QuikTrip, 5025 N.E. Antioch Road, in Kansas City
• Pooh's Corner Bar & Grill in St. Louis

There were 13 people who won $776 playing Lotto, and 49 people who won $250 playing Show Me Cash.  You apparently really liked this winning combination:  5-15-22-25-35.  One more possible multiple of five and it could have been a wicked split. 

A Club Keno player also got in on the action.  A ticket sold at American Tavern in St. Joseph won $6,000. 

We're set for a big weekend:  Mega Millions is $101 million on Friday, Powerball is $59 million on Saturday, Lotto has a $1.4 million jackpot, and Show Me Cash tonight is an estimated $70,000. 

Trips!

Players who have been playing Pick 3 and Pick 4 because of the "Cruise Control" promotion got an added boost today when triple 8s were selected as the Midday Pick 3 winning combination.  It's the second time this year 8-8-8 has been drawn.  We paid prizes in excess of $380,000, which was about 532 percent of sales.
