Ticket To Ride

Less than one week remains until the first entry deadline in the "Ticket To Ride" second-chance promotion.  The first drawing on July 15 features a grand prize of a 2010 Ford® Mustang® Premium GT. 

Another new ticket that is eligible for entry in the promotion is the $5 game, "$100,000 Riches."  Win up to 20 times and $100,000 on a single ticket.  If you don't win instantly, enter non-winning "$100,000 Riches" Scratchers into the "Ticket To Ride" promotion for a chance to win new vehicles, electronics for your car or a year's worth of gasoline.  Just two of these $5 tickets will comprise an entry into the promotion.  

The first entry deadline is 5 p.m. on July 6.  Tickets must be received at the Lottery or entered online by that time for a chance at the new Mustang®.  Good luck. 

Where it's at

Missourians won a lot of money over the weekend playing the Missouri Lottery.  Friday night, there was one player who matched five white-balls in Mega Millions to win $250,000.  The winning ticket was sold at Price Cutter, 2525 W. College St., in Springfield. 

Another player matched four white-ball numbers and the Megaball® to win $10,000.  That winning ticket was sold at Shop 'n Save, 5780 Lindbergh Blvd., in St. Louis.

At least two players won big prizes playing Club Keno.  A ticket sold at L & L Package Store in Eagle Rock won $12,941, and a ticket sold at the Wappapello Eagles lodge won $7,666. 

And that's not all!  A ticket matched all five winning Show Me Cash numbers Saturday night to win the $167,059 jackpot.  If you buy tickets at Cables Grocery and Package Store, and there are a lot of you, check your tickets closely. 

But wait - it gets even freakier.  Saturday, the Midday winning Pick 4 numbers were 5-5-5-5.  That's just the second time quads have been drawn in the history of the game.  Players won more than $418,000, which was a payout of 1,131 percent.  Ouch. 

Congrats to all the players who won big and small this weekend.  There's big money to play for every night.  Tonight's Show Me Cash jackpot is $55,000. 

Big Bang Bucks

The Fourth of July is quickly approaching, and the Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket celebrating the holiday is nearly sold out.  "Big Bang Bucks" is a $2 game that officially began May 1.  The game features a top prize of $20,000, and while the ticket may already be hard to find due to strong sales, four top prizes remain unclaimed. 

If you're looking for a "hot" ticket, consider buying "Big Bang Bucks."  It may not be around for long. 

What would you do?

Here's an interesting little column that ran in the Columbia Daily Tribune.  In it, columnist Bill Clark lays out all the good causes he would help should he win a $200 million Powerball jackpot.  It's quite a list that would go a long way toward improving and sustaining Columbia. 

It begs the question - what would you do if you won a $200 million jackpot?  Would helping others be on your list? 

Where it's at

There were two winning tickets sold for last night's Powerball jackpot. Winners in Montana and Ohio will split the $97 million jackpot.  Another player from Maine won $1 million using Power Play.  In Missouri, one player matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000.  The winning ticket was sold at Macadoodles in Pineville. 

Someone else had some luck with Club Keno.  A ticket sold at BJ's Bar & Restaurant in Florissant won $5,480. 

Don't be discouraged that the jackpot got hit.  Lotto continues to grow and tonight's Show Me Cash jackpot is an estimated $104,000! 

Where it's at

Mega Millions got hit in New York last night.  There was one ticket sold in Missouri that matched four white-ball numbers and the Megaball® to win $10,000.  That ticket was sold at Schulte's Fresh Foods in Jefferson City. 

Tonight's Powerball jackpot is an estimated $97 million!  Got your ticket? 

Money Money Money

The second game eligible for the "Ticket To Ride" second-chance promotion is the $2 game, "Money Money Money."  Win up to 10 times on a single ticket.  The top prize is $25,000, all seven of which are unclaimed at the time of this post.  The game has more than $6 million in prizes, but if you don't win one instantly, you can enter non-winning "Money Money Money" Scratchers tickets into the "Ticket To Ride" promotion.  It will take five of these $2 tickets to comprise one entry. 

There are fantastic prizes available in this summer's promotion, including a year's worth of gasoline, electronics for your car and Missouri Lottery Scratchers tickets.  The grand prize in each of three drawings this summer will be one of the following vehicles:  A Ford® Mustang® Premium GT, a Cadillac® CTS® Sedan or a Chevrolet® Corvette® Coupe Grand Sport®.  We'll even pay the taxes and throw in an extra $500 for licensing. 

Look for the new $2 game "Money Money Money" at your favorite Missouri Lottery retail location, and hold on those non-winning tickets for a second chance to win!

With the launch of Keno To Go, we've had a virtual flood of winners in Club Keno.  There were a number of big winners this weekend, but all came from traditional Keno retailers - meaning adult establishments.  Here's the rundown of winners:

• $10,690 - RT Weiler's in St. Charles
• $6,992 - Spanky's Sports Bar & Grill in Raytown

Catch the Cardinals

The second drawing in the "Catch the Cardinals™" second-chance promotion is complete.  The unofficial winners list is posted here. 

There were more than 79,000 entries for this drawing, of which about 82 percent were entered online. 

Only one drawing remains in this promotion and the "St. Louis Cardinals®" Scratchers tickets my be getting rare - more than half of the game has been sold already.  The final entry deadline is Tuesday, July 13 at 5 p.m. 

Where it's at

No one hit the Powerball jackpot last night, but one player in another state won $1 million with Power Play.  One Missourian used Power Play to multiply a $10,000 prize into $50,000.  That winning ticket was sold at Hollister Food Mart in Hollister.  Another player matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000.  That ticket was sold at McNeal's Superette in St. Louis.  The Powerball jackpot for Saturday is now $78 million.  

There was one jackpot winner in Missouri last night.  One ticket matched all five Show Me Cash numbers to win the $65,000 jackpot.  Players who shop at Huck's Food Store in St. Charles should check their tickets.  That's the 95th jackpot awarded since Show Me Cash began in 2008.  Tonight's Show Me Cash jackpot resets to $50,000. 

There was also a big Club Keno winner this week.  A player who buys tickets at Bandwagon Hall in St. Louis won $61,039 on a 8-spot ticket.
