While the latest Powerball winner came forward in record time, most winners claim their tickets within a few weeks. There are a couple of winning tickets that are as of yet unclaimed.
The first big one is a $5.5 million Lotto ticket from the April 14 drawing. The ticket was sold at Shop 'n Save in Maplewood.
There are three $200,000 winning Powerball tickets that are still unclaimed, one that expires tomorrow. A ticket sold at Casey's General Store, 808 E. Highway 72 in Rolla, won $200,000 in the Oct. 31 drawing. It will expire at the close of business on April 29.
Two other winning tickets from March remain unclaimed. Tickets sold at 7-Eleven, 2807 Sulphur Ave. in St. Louis, for the March 27 drawing, and another sold for the March 31 drawing at Gladstone Mart & Liquor, both matched five white-ball numbers to win $200,000.
A Show Me Cash winning jackpot ticket for the March 31 drawing remains unclaimed. The winning ticket, sold at Schnucks, 12332 Manchester in St. Louis, is worth $55,000.
That's a lot of money out there waiting for someone to step forward and claim his or her prize. Check your coat pockets, ash trays and sofa cushions and get those tickets to a Lottery office!
UPDATE: The Powerball ticket from Rolla expired. All other prizes have been claimed, except the Powerball ticket from Gladstone.
