Boo!

The Halloween Costume contest is starting to get good.  Check out the photo stream on flickr, and you'll agree - we've got some creative Lottery players.  If you have plans of donning garb this weekend for some spooky fun, take a picture and enter it by Nov. 5.  We'll let you choose the best, and we'll award the top five a prize package including $50 in Scratchers tickets.  Check here for the rules.

Wacky numbers

I don't think think it's a full moon, but there could be some spirits afoot.  You may not have noticed, but triples came up in Pick 3 last night.  Pick 3 players sure did.  We paid out more than $400,000 in prizes, which was more than 400 percent of sales on the combination 4 - 4 - 4. 

Pick 4 players also cashed in.  On the 80th anniversary of the stock market crash that led to the Great Depression, we paid out more than 300 percent on the winning combination of 1 - 9 - 2 - 9. 

Today's Midday Pick 3 winning combination was 1 - 4 - 4, and Pick 4 was 7 - 7 - 4 - 7.  Any guesses as to what's next?

We had a big winner in Lucky Dough.  A player who buys tickets at Donties in Wentzville won more than $50,000. 

Another player matched all five white-ball numbers in Powerball last night to win $200,000.  The winning ticket was sold at KK, LLC in Sedalia.  The Powerball jackpot for Saturday is an estimated $53 million.

There were a few big winners in Missouri this weekend.  Two players will split the $50,000 Show Me Cash jackpot for Friday.  Tickets purchased at the following locations matched all five numbers to receive a share of the prize:

• 7-Eleven, 201 N. 17th St. in St. Louis
• Circle K, 11077 Olive Blvd. in St. Louis

Tonight's Show Me Cash jackpot is an estimated $60,000. 

There were two big Club Keno prizes awarded. A ticket sold at Tattooed Lady Bar & Grill in Moscow Mills won more than $5,000, and a player won $11,523 at the New Runaway Lounge in Kansas City. 

No one hit the Powerball jackpot, although a player in Colorado used Power Play to win $1 million.  A player who buys tickets at Mobil 401 on Osage in Pacific matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000.  The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday is an estimated $41 million. 

Show Me Cash!

There was one ticket sold last night that matched all five numbers in Show Me Cash to win the largest jackpot to date.  If you buy tickets at QuikTrip, 8733 E. 63rd in Raytown, check them closely.  The winner will receive $614,509. 

Where it's at

There were two players who matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball in last night's drawing.  The winning tickets worth $10,000 were purchased at the following locations: 

• Applemart on Blue Ridge Blvd. in Kansas City
• Dody's on Heritage Highway in Jefferson City 

Another player won big playing Club Keno.  A ticket sold at GB Field Old Timers Saloon in St. Louis won $5,000. 

The story of the day is Show Me Cash.  Tonight's drawing features the largest jackpot ever offered in this game, an estimated $557,000!  It only takes a dollar to win.

The Halloween Costume Contest is back!  Take a photo of your costume this year and submit it to me, Captain Lotto for a chance to win a prize package which includes $50 worth of Scratchers tickets.  We'll display all the images here on Molottery blog, and will allow you to choose the best at the end of the entry period.  Submit photos any time between now and 5 p.m. on Nov. 5.  The top five costumes will each receive a prize package including a backpack, T-shirt, mousepad and $50 worth of Missouri Lottery Scratchers tickets, plus some other goodies.

Where it's at

There was one big winner in Powerball over the weekend, but the jackpot rolled.  A player who buys tickets at 7-Eleven on Shackleford Road in Florissant matched five white-ball numbers to win $200,000.  The estimated Powerball jackpot for Wed. is $25 million. 

There was a big Club Keno winner this weekend as well.  A player won nearly $7,000 playing Keno at Jerry's in Florissant. 

Where it's at

There were several big winners from last night's drawings.  A Lotto jackpot worth $1.1 million was sold at Hen House, 6238 N. Chatham Ave. in Kansas City.  This is the 194th Lotto winner sold.

There were also two tickets that matched five white-ball numbers in Powerball to win $200,000.  Those tickets were sold at:

• QuikTrip 228, 2525 Burlington St. in N. Kansas City
• CB's Mini Mart, 14130 Hwy. Z in Waynesville

One Powerball ticket matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000.  That ticket was sold at Circle K, 8401 Industrial Dr. in Cedar Hill.

 

There wasn't a winner of the Show Me Cash top prize, so that prize rises to $272,000 for tonight's drawing.  Don't forget to get in the game!
