Photographic pets

The 2010 Lottery Calendar Photo contest is coming to a close.  Players have until 5 p.m. Friday, June 26, to submit their favorite pet photo for a chance to win cash, Scratchers tickets and a place in our calendar.  There will be 13 winners in all.  Check out the promotion page for all the details on how to submit a photo.  If you don't have a great photo of your pet already, you have less than two weeks to get entered.  Good luck. 

Where it's at

There were a couple of big winners from Monday.  A Club Keno player at Pete E Maes in Pacific hit it for nearly $8,000.  And one player matched all five numbers in Show Me Cash to win the jackpot of more than $335,000.  That's the 40th jackpot awarded since Show Me Cash began last September.  The winning ticket was sold at Casey's on Morley in Moberly. 
The Show Me Cash jackpot resets to $50,000 for tonight, but don't dismay.  Show Me Cash features great odds and is consistently awarding players with large prizes. 

Where it's at

Fresh off a long weekend.  We had five players from last Wednesday and one player from Saturday match four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000.  Those tickets were sold at the following locations:

• Casey's on Business 54 in Fulton
• 7-Eleven, 3765 Gravois, St. Louis
• Snappy Mart in West Plains

Get Cruisin'

The drawing for the third prize in the summer promotion happens today.  Be watching molottery.com for the winners list later this afternoon. 
With this drawing behind us, only one grand prize remains in the "Get Cruisin'" second-chance promotion.  Enter to win the Cruisin' Couples prize of a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado® and a 2009 Pontiac Solstice®.  The final entry deadline is July 1.  Good luck. 

Trips

Triple 4s showed up in Pick 3 last night.  People love the trips and our bank account shows it.  The prize payout was 356 percent of sales. 

New poll

There's a new poll along the sidebar.  We see sales dip slightly in the summer, and I'm curious why.  Are you playing less, and for what reason?  Is it because you're busy, or already spent your money?  What kind of ticket would interest you?  Feel free to explain your answer in the comments below. 

Where it's at

There were a few big winners over the weekend.  Three players matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000, but only one of them added Power Play and multiplied their prize to $30,000.  That player bought the winning ticket at Woods Mini Mart in Platte City.  The other two winners shop at the following locations: 

• BP Food Mart on Scott Avenue in Belton
• Dirt Cheap Cigarettes and Beer on Gravois in Affton

Powerball, by the way, has climbed to $45 million for the Wednesday drawing. 

Where it's at

We had another big Club Keno winner.  A player at Steelville Country Club won more than $5,000. 
It's amazing how quickly Powerball grows.  The jackpot for Saturday is $34 million!

Springfield Cardinals

The Missouri Lottery is sponsoring the Springfield Cardinals again this year.  That means you'll have the chance to win while attending games.  There will promotions all summer long, and our first is June 3.  The first 1,000 fans (18 and older) attending the ballpark on Wednesday will be greeted by Lottery staff handing out free tickets.  Get there early! 
Head on down to the ballpark and enjoy a night of entertainment with the Springfield Cardinals and the Missouri Lottery. 

Deadline looms

The third entry deadline in the "Get Cruisin'" summer promotion is quickly approaching.  You must have your entries submitted by 5 p.m. on June 3 to be eligible for 10 years of cruises.  After this drawing, only one remains.
