Get Cruisin'

The first drawing in the "Get Cruisin'" second-chance promotion is complete.  Check out the list of unofficial winners here. 
The next entry deadline is May 13.  The prize in the next drawing is a Cadillac® Escalade® Hybrid 4-wheel drive.  We'll pay the taxes and give you an extra $500 to boot.  Good luck. 

Where it's at

One player matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball last night to win $10,000.  The winning ticket was sold at Station Stop on 40 Highway in Kansas City. 
Of course, the big news is that trips came up in Pick 3 Tuesday night.  8-8-8 is a popular combination, and it nearly broke the bank.  The payout was 450 percent of sales. 
Tonight's Show Me Cash jackpot is $94,000, and the Powerball jackpot for May 2 is an estimated $77 million!  Make sure you have a ticket.

Where it's at

There were three players who matched four white-ball numbers and the Powerball to win $10,000 over the weekend.  One of those people added Power Play and multiplied their winnings into $50,000.  That ticket was purchased at Plaza Gas in Ozark.  The other two winning tickets were purchased at the following locations:

• QuikTrip on Big Bend in Maplewood
• QuikTrip on Front St. in Kansas City

You can add Power Play to your ticket for an extra $1 at the time of purchase.  Wednesday's estimated Powerball jackpot is $65 million. 

It's a winner!

Mention the Show Me Cash jackpot and someone hits it!  One winning ticket matched all five numbers to win more than $76,000 last night.  It was sold at Schnucks, Grandview Plaza Shopping Center in Florissant.  That's the 33rd jackpot won in the game. 
The winning numbers were 18, 21, 25, 27 and 35.  An additional 16 Missourians pocketed $250 by matching four numbers. 

Scams

Occasionally we'll see reminders about scams from our attorney general, as well as attorneys general from other states.  Apparently, that's one market that hasn't been hit by the economy.  In fact, the scammers are thriving.  Here's a recent article from North Carolina reminding people that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. 

Where it's at

No one hit the big one last night, but we did have a few winners this week.  Someone who plays Club Keno at Pagoda Gardens in Cape Girardeau won more than $7,500 on Monday.  And 12 Missourians won nearly $1,000 playing Lotto last night.
The estimated Show Me Cash jackpot tonight is $70,000 and the Powerball jackpot for April 25 is an estimated $53 million!

Someone mentioned they were having trouble navigating the Web site and it reminded me of tricks that we take for granted.  There are buttons in the top banner that will take you to highly traveled spots, and drop-down menus just below that will help you find specific pages.  If you travel in a few pages and want to reset, click on the Missouri Lottery logo in the top left corner of every page - that will whisk you back to home. 

Get entered

Today is the last chance to enter the "Get Cruisin'" promotion to be eligible for the first prize giveaway - a backyard renovation valued at $60,000.  The prize is significant - you could completely remake your living space, add a pool, or build the vineyard you always wanted.  Have you entered for this prize?  What would you use it for?

Another winning weekend for Show Me Cash players!  Two players hit Saturday's jackpot - each will receive more than $80,000.  The winning tickets were sold at the following locations: 

• Break Time on Kearney in Springfield
• 7-Eleven on Colonnade Center in Des Peres

In case you didn't know, the Powerball jackpot for April 22 is an estimated $42 million. 

Deadline looms

This is the last weekend to buy tickets before the first deadline of the summer promotion.  I expect sales of the games tied to "Get Cruisin'" to be a hot commodity this weekend.  In addition to our two $20 games, players can use any of the following Scratchers to enter "Get Cruisin'":

• $5 "$100,000 Payday"
• $10 "$500,000 Cash Spectacular"
