The Powerball jackpot rolled last night, but one player in Missouri did win $10,000 for matching four white-ball numbers and the Powerball. The winning ticket was sold at 7-Eleven, 12235 McKelvey Road, in Maryland Heights.
The Powerball jackpot grew to $159 million. The next Mega Millions drawing takes place on Friday, and the jackpot is up to $284 million. That’s a lot of money on the line this weekend. Consider adding Megaplier and Power Play to your tickets to win larger non-jackpot prizes. Of course, everyone wants to win the jackpot, but adding Megaplier can turn a near miss into something great.
There is one big jackpot to play for tonight. The Show Me Cash jackpot is up to $129,000.
Ones are popular this week. Following a massive payout on Pick 4 recently, Pick 3 players got in on the action today. The winning midday combo was, you guessed it, 1-1-1. The Lottery paid more than $435,000 in prizes.
What three numbers are you playing next?
The Mega Millions jackpot rolled to $284 million. There was only one $1 million Match 5 winner last night, and it was in Missouri. The $1 million winning ticket was sold at Kum & Go, 130 Old Route 66, in St. Robert.
Don’t forget, you can add Megaplier for an extra $1 and multiply non-jackpot prizes by the Megaplier number. Last night’s Megaplier was five, which would have meant a $5 million Match 5 prize.
The next drawing is Friday. It only takes one ticket to win, so please play responsibly.
Pick 3 players weren't going to let Pick 4 players have all the fun. A favorable combo arrived at midday and players pounced. When the winning combination came up in order, 7-8-9, Pick 3 players won more than $105,000. A lot hit it straight or straight/box, but lots won with box or 1-Off plays as well.
Halloween is just around the corner. Does that give you any ideas for your next three numbers?

We have NFL-themed Scratchers that are available now. In light of sending a Facebook fan to the Governor's Cup game in Kansas City this weekend, we thought it might be a good time to remind you of both of them. Win up to $75,000 instantly on both the "St. Louis Rams®" and the "Kansas City Chiefs®" Scratchers games. The $5 games also feature instant-win prizes of 2015 season tickets. That's right - both teams continue to improve and you could be there for all of next season just by playing these games.
It's too bad that one of these teams has to lose this weekend, but the Missouri Lottery will be on hand at Arrowhead Stadium when the Rams play the Chiefs for the Governor's Cup. Look for our booths inside the stadium, and buy tickets for your favorite team. You can get a limited-edition T-shirt with a $10 purchase. It's going to be fun, and did we mention we are sending a fan? Like the Missouri Lottery on Facebook and enter to win tickets to sporting events all year long. It's just one of the ways we say thanks for Playing It Forward.
The Kansas City Royals® are in the World Series! The St. Louis Cardinals® fell a little short of the I-70 Series rematch, but we’re proud of both our partners. It was a great season of baseball in Missouri, and we’re hoping the Royals can take the crown! To celebrate, we’re offering the “Show Your Spirit” promotion to our fans on Facebook. Upload a photo showing your team spirit, and you could win an Officially Licensed Merchandise Prize Pack for your favorite team. We award two prize packs for St. Louis Cardinals fans and two prize packs for Kansas City Royals fans. These are just like the prizes available in our MLB® Scratchers games, which still have lots of prizes available, including 2015 season tickets.
Let’s keep the fun going – “Show Your Spirit” to us this week on Facebook, and you could win gear for your favorite team.
